Relevancy - A Form of Love

Search engines and the information age have brought about a new concept that I think few people have really sat down and thought about. Relevancy is a concept that creates actual value and worth for the receiver. It is something that is truthful and honest and doesn't set out to mislead the receiver. I see relevancy as one of the most important words in our day and age, in fact I don't even see it as a word really. I see relevancy as a connector of energy, much the same way as love.

Being a search engine marketer myself, I see the term relevancy used all the time as search engines are based very tightly off of this concept.

For instance, if you search for "Dog Collars" on a search engine there is actually a lot of "truth" going on behind the scenes. The search engine is breaking down your search and providing something that is relevant and therefore important to you. It is acting as an efficient, helpful and above all valuable service to you as it works as a tool to fulfill your personal desires.

While people do searches everyday most people don't ever stop to think about what is really going on and see how this concept can be applied to their own personal and business life. The concept of relevancy is something that could improve everyone's life.

For instance, in the business world very few companies actually value relevancy and understand the concept - this is because it is a "value-based" concept that is closer to truth than other "money-based" forms of business. Look at all the great companies that exist today: Google, eBay, Pixar - all these companies are built around relevancy. They are connectors that remove sales, misinformation, hype and tricks and choose to replace it with a much more universal truth of relevancy. Their services and products are built around relevancy to the end user. None of these companies try to sell you. They don't try to take your money. You simply give them your money without them even asking because they are relevant to your needs.
