A Solid Foundation Is Key To Solid Growth

Foundations are paramount in regards to solid growth. Would you ever try to build a skyscraper without first preparing the foundation and making sure you were on solid ground? Why then would you want to build your own life without first preparing the foundation?

The taller the building the greater the foundation. The greater the business, the greater the foundation. The greater the leader, the greater the foundation. Foundations are essential to building anything of long term value and relevancy.

Creativity Comes Before Everything

Pretty much all things around us are a result of creativity. I can't really think of anything that comes before creativity and I find it extremely valuable to place a large emphasis on creativity.

I find it sad to see our current society living in such a rote, left-brained, materialistic, regurgitation-heavy, small-minded state of existence. How many people do you know that spend more than 10 minutes a day listening to their own creativity?

We are all creative beings

People Who Do Their Homework VS Those Who Don't

I seem to come across this a lot in every day conversations: people who do very little, if any, research on topics think that their non-researched opinion holds weight over that of somebody who has done extensive research. While it's true that anybody can have a say in something and share their opinion, at the end of the day in most cases the educated person who has done their homework in a particular field knows more about it than those who have not.

How I Gained 10 Pounds of Solid Muscle In 2 Months

Around January 10 or so this year I decided I wanted to gain 10 pounds of solid muscle, primarily on my arms and upper body, but also on my legs. I have already been going to the gym consistently for about 2 years, but I haven't really gained any weight, I've just maintained a fairly healthy build.

People Like Intelligence

Take pretty much anything people like - it has to do with intelligence. People are into God which is intelligence. People are into music which is intelligence. People are into other people which is intelligence. Bottom line, people are into things of intelligence.

Warren Buffett says it best: "It's better to hang out with people better than you"

"It's better to hang out with people better than you. Pick out associates whose behavior is better than yours and you'll drift in that direction." - Warren Buffett

So few people today actually think like this. Rather than working on growing and becoming better they are much more happy finding those of a lesser caliber than themselves and feeding their ego. They love the rewards and recognition that come with being better than their lesser teammates even if it stunts their own growth and their teammates.

Easy Steps On How To Become A Low Quality Individual

People are always talking about how to improve yourself and become better, but I figured why not list out some guidelines that will only make your life worse.

Greed

Being greedy is extremely important because it is in conflict with the universe. If everyone in the world was greedy we would get nowhere because everyone was too busy burning everyone else. If everyone was kind and generous there would be a surplus of progress, we definitely don't want that!

Your Homework For Today

Yes, that's right. I'm giving you a homework assignment on my blog. And in case you're wondering >>>

Better to complete something 90% than to shoot for 100% and never complete it

I always see people wasting time on certain tasks and projects in their life. They are always spending time getting the details just right and getting everything completed perfectly. That's fine if they get it done, but they don't - the details consume them. This is especially common with web designers (I know because I am one) although I suspect pretty much every profession suffers from this.
