I had an interesting thought today. Some people are skeptical to believe certain things while others are less skeptical. Some people require a certain delivery of the message to swallow it. Everybody has different believes and values.
My point is, why do you care what you believe in? The only reason somebody would care what they believe in is if they cared about their foundation and their goals. If you can't have any objective and nothing to build upon, why do your believes matter at all?
Now that I have your attention, understand that I only have your attention because you are human. Everything in this universe is not human. In fact, 99.9999999999999% of everything in this universe is not human. So these things that matter most to you matter least in the whole scheme of things. In the big picture of things does anybody besides humans even care?
I think a lot of people get turned off from the Bible because it uses all these outdated terms and just doesn't mesh with our current vocabulary a lot of the time. People forget that the Bible was written by a much more primitive man and they were explaining things based off their current level of science and understanding. Since these times I think we have progressed forward and can now understand things on a more accurate level.
It hit me today. The Bible talks about the evil forces being very deceiving and smart and it's totally true. The craziest part is I really think the people who are most fooled are the people who are supposed to be the least fooled (Christians + others). Lack of consciousness, thought and growth appears to be extremely deadly.

I was talking to a friend the other day and he brought up something that made me think about this. This is a pretty interesting and somewhat creepy statement, but I think it's fairly accurate: The closer we are to God the less personality we have. And conversely, the further we are from God the more personality we have.
Since I have a lot of quotes on this site and am a big fan of quotes I figured why not write a blog post about one of my favorite ones. This quote comes from a guy named Jesus, although maybe I should tell you his name is 50 Cent so you take him a bit more seriously: "Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."
I'm sure everybody has heard this question and many others like it. Like with most paradoxes, it seems as though it's not that we can't answer it that's the problem, it is the question itself.
Why be envious of other people, when you could be envious of your own problems? Yes, you heard me: you should be happy with the problems you have in that you have been given something to overcome. I think most people take an extremely biased view towards things in this world and as a result it shows in their spiritual and emotional development.
I probably come off as a Christian / Religion basher on my blog so allow me to set the record straight. I like Christians and religious people a lot. I find them to be positive people that can really enjoy and make the most out of life. I usually attack them on scientific and logical grounds because in most cases they have some problems in these areas, but as a whole and in the scheme of everyday things they really have a lot of things right.
