Drupal VS Joomla VS Wordpress - Which Is The Best CMS?

Drupal, Joomla and Wordpress are the 3 most popular content management systems according to Alexa and most webmasters. They all have their own blend of features and options that allow for extremely powerful and well-built web sites. With such feature rich systems it is important to understand the different aspects of each one to help with making a better choice as to which CMS fits you.

It should be noted that this chart is written from a web developers perspective and I am fairly experienced with creating sites with a CMS or without. I have used all 3 systems for developing web sites, but strictly stick to Drupal now as it allows me to built the most powerful sites the easiest.

New Blog Design

Update: So I decided to go back to my old design. I really liked the new design, but it was just harder to read through and navigate around in. I could see it working for some types of sites, but not this one, so I'm back to my roots :).

I have been super busy with building out my company, MarvQuin, lately, but I got a bit of time tonight to relax and create a new design for this site. Hopefully it works out, I'm a fan.

Why do almost all blogs use a slash "/" at the end of their URLs?

I guess I somewhat know the answer to blogs using / at the end of the URLs, but I don't fully understand it.

From my understanding, this is more search engine friendly because it is showing the search engines that since the URL does not have an extension (ie: .html, .php, .asp) it is a directory. The proper way to show a directory is by including the trailing slash (/) at the end. That's cool, but it is not a directory and it doesn't matter whether it's proper or not.
