People Like Intelligence

Take pretty much anything people like - it has to do with intelligence. People are into God which is intelligence. People are into music which is intelligence. People are into other people which is intelligence. Bottom line, people are into things of intelligence.

Warren Buffett says it best: "It's better to hang out with people better than you"

"It's better to hang out with people better than you. Pick out associates whose behavior is better than yours and you'll drift in that direction." - Warren Buffett

So few people today actually think like this. Rather than working on growing and becoming better they are much more happy finding those of a lesser caliber than themselves and feeding their ego. They love the rewards and recognition that come with being better than their lesser teammates even if it stunts their own growth and their teammates.

Look Beyond The Words And Into The Actions

Often times when trying to discern new ideas and beliefs from people I find it hard to know what to take and what to leave. Recently I have discovered something that seems to work quite well for me. When you look into things like beliefs, God(s), science and things of this nature you will notice that the values and messages behind these things directly affect one's lifestyle. Therefore the people that are on to the truth should be complete people leading quality lives.

Are You An Ideas Person? ME NEITHER!

Everybody is an ideas person! I have yet to meet someone who doesn't have ideas about everything. Well guess what? Until you can think things into existence (convert energy into matter) it is much more beneficial and realistic in our current civilization to be a person of work and results.

Getting things done is a much more practical skill to have in this day and age, but why is it that so many people just talk about ideas all day long?

People Don't Know When To Move On

For every innovator, every entrepreneur and every leader there are hundreds of people lacking all of these qualities. Unfortunately, the world is not something most people choose to embrace and dominate. There are a number of reasons on why this is, but I think an important one is that people don't know when to move on.

2 People Can Look at the Same Thing and Have Different Perspectives and Both Be Right

Like take this picture for instance. One person may see two faces while another may see a vase. Both people are 100% honest and truthful and they are also both right, at least according to their perspective. This strange reality introduces a number of questions that I find interesting. Is everything we interpret in this life built off our perspective? Why do most people think their perspective is better than somebody else's perspective? How do we even define what a perspective is?

People Are Greedy - Target Sued by Blind Federation

A recent article on Yahoo pretty much sums it up: http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20071003/wr_nm/target_blind_dc_4.

"According to the ruling, plaintiffs -- including the National Federation of the Blind -- claim Target.com violates federal and state laws prohibiting discrimination against the disabled."

People Are Stupid Because It's Easy

Being stupid is easy, and being smart is hard. It's as simple as that. People generally do not want to work on understanding new things, so they don't and as a result it shows in their decisions and lifestyle.

Is Being Homosexual / Gay Right or Wrong?

Yes, I believe most of what The Bible says, but The Bible saying "being homosexual is wrong" is not a good enough answer for me - I want to understand why so not only it makes sense to me, but so I can back up my perspective when communicating with others. If The Bible says something is right or wrong it should be able to be proven through the world anyway so why not look into the world and see what we can find?

People Are TOO Caught Up In Their Lives

I think people in general are way too caught up with their lives and the world. I think sometimes they need to take a break, chill out and discover who, what, where, why and when.

Most people I talk to are so involved with their job, their family, their expenses and everything that life throws at them they never have the time to actually think why they are here and if they are making good use of their life. I almost see it as people living unconsciously like machines because they have never really stopped to understand what's going on here.
