Drupal, Joomla and Wordpress are the 3 most popular content management systems according to Alexa and most webmasters. They all have their own blend of features and options that allow for extremely powerful and well-built web sites. With such feature rich systems it is important to understand the different aspects of each one to help with making a better choice as to which CMS fits you.

It should be noted that this chart is written from a web developers perspective and I am fairly experienced with creating sites with a CMS or without. I have used all 3 systems for developing web sites, but strictly stick to Drupal now as it allows me to built the most powerful sites the easiest.

Somehow us web developers have really got to seriously do something about IE. I don't know what it is, but I really can't take it anymore. I am sick of developing hacks, work-arounds and other time wasters for Micro$oft.

Every web developer has to get pissed off about IE at one point or another in their life and I am no different. IE is such a piece of trash. I have hated it for years and every day I hate it more and more. Everything about it sucks. It used to be the best browser like 30 years ago when nobody used the Internet. Once browsers like Firefox and Safari came out they totally dominated it.

This isn't the 80's. The Internet is now a part of everyone's life so shouldn't your archaic beast for a site also be? The answer is yes if you enjoy growth. In spirit of how badass Web 2.0 is I have assembled a list of 12 ways to turn your Web 1.0 site into a Web 2.0 site

1. Replace esomething.com with MYsomething.com

Your web site is not web 2.0 if it has some lame "e" in front of it. We all know your web site is electronic! Let's make it personal with a friendly "my" :).

By this article not hitting the Digg homepage it will prove my point as being true. You can't hit the Digg homepage with a quality article on its own, you have to have some type of existing traffic or user base to help get it going. Even though this article is of high quality and very accurate it will not make the Digg homepage because I don't know enough people or have enough traffic to give it that first nudge.

Did you find it? It's lack of direction. This site has quality that no other site on the Internet has (I checked by searching "Foremost, you have to decide what you will primarily use the optics for" on Google), however, it is still doing nothing to clarify what is going on to the search engines.

Being a web guy I am constantly working with CSS and after a while I start to come across things that could be improved, or that don't make sense. A lot of the time I will compare it to the way Photoshop or Javascript handles something and ask myself why doesn't CSS do it this way? This article will hit on a few of those things.

Google video is a Godsend to those of use who love watching education shows on certain topics. I used to love watching some type of show about science related topics on the Discovery channel but the main problem was these shows were only on about once a week at specific, set times.
