5 senses is extremely limiting. It just doesn't even make sense to me at all. We live in a limitless universe where all things are possible and everything is infinite yet we think 5 senses is the magic number to how any consciousness or life is? I find that extremely shallow and arrogant.

The 5 senses

Our 5 senses are sight, sound, smell, taste and feeling. That's it. That's pretty much the only way we can interpret the world around us. Everything in science and math is infinite and poses no limits on anything yet our very own body has posed limits on our avenues of input. Doesn't this seem at all a bit strange? Why 5? What makes this the magic number? Why limit us at all? Are we not worthy of having a higher level of consciousness?

Does God have 5 senses?

I know some people don't believe in God or whatever, and that's fine, but for those who do or at least want to consider for this for argument's sake: Does God only have 5 senses? My answer is HELL NO! If he is all knowing and infinite he should have infinite senses or at least be way above senses. The 5 senses make no sense for a consciousness much higher than our own, especially that of God. Senses is a way for us to interpret our world and grow through it. What if you don't need to interpret our world?

I figured I'd throw this idea out there because I really do find 5 senses to be one of those things that is "forced" and not really "natural". To me this provides yet another case for a creator and also opens up a whole new plethora of questions.
